Wallace forgets the Blues
Tuesday, August 10th, 2010BRONCOS halfback Peter Wallace remains a passionate New South Welshman despite his love affair with Brisbane, but admits his hopes of a recall to the Blues’ State of Origin line-up are slim.
Wallace, who will play his 50th match for the Broncos against Cronulla at Suncorp Stadium tomorrow, could pay the price for last-placed Brisbane’s poor start to 2010.
Wallace, 24, made his NRL debut for Penrith against Canberra in 2005 and played 20 NRL matches for the Panthers before joining Brisbane in 2008.
“I’ve loved my time at the Broncos,” Wallace said yesterday. “It’s a great place to come and train every day.Twins jerseys and triplets may or may not look alike, but their personalities are their own individual selves fro The legacy of the place is wonderful and to wear the jersey is an honour.
“I love Queensland and the people, but I’m still a New South Welshman at heart.”
Wallace has played four Origin matches but was dropped after the Blues lost game two of last year’s series.
“I’m not holding my breath about Origin,” he said. “Mitchell Pearce has been playing well for the Roosters, but whoever they pick will wear the jersey with pride and do a great job.
“I’m just worrying about the Broncos and getting my game going and playing consistently.”
Wallace’s last Origin appearance came alongside Cronulla five-eighth and captain, Trent Barrett. Barrett retained his spot for Origin III, but like Wallace,Yankees jerseyMain goods:vikings, cowboys, saints, steelers, blackhawks, raiders, penguins, phillies,Yankees jersey. Our o holds little hope of selection for game one this year given the Sharks are also in the NRL cellar.
As a junior, Wallace played five-eighth and Barrett and another Penrith product, Brad Fittler, were his heroes. “I remember Trent playing for the Illawarra Steelers,” Wallace said. “I think I was 10 when he came on the scene. He is a great player.”
Wallace says he has been pleased with his work rate,if you want to wholesale mlb jerseys, search online for a cheaper price. particularly in defence, but also gives a pass mark to his kicking game.
“I’ve had a bit of a slower start to the year than I would have liked,” he said in reference to a hamstring injury which restricted his trial game appearances. The NFL youth jerseys is one example of such technology.

“But I probably need to take the line on a bit more. There are a few things I need to work on.”
Broncos coach, Ivan Henjak rates Wallace one of the game’s best tacklers and is happy for opposition teams to target him.
Wallace says he has always liked that aspect of the game despite the fact players seem to be getting bigger every year.

Wallace’s Broncos debut was against Penrith in round 1, 2008.
“We tore them apart and it was a special moment,” he said. “But I think Penrith will be a force this year and finish well up in the top eight.”
